There’s no doubt, September has been a month full of surprises! First of all, we were selected as ambassadors for Civil Economics 2023. Then, we received the invitation to participate in the “National Festival of Civil Economics” in Florence. Wonderful!

On Friday 29th, in fact, we had the honour and the pleasure to share our sustainability project at Palazzo Vecchio together with other Italian companies selected as ambassadors.

Talking about our commitment in the chair sector in front of many people and within such a beautiful and evocative setting, was truly a unique experience.

The sustainability in the chair sector

During his speech named “The sustainability in the chair sector”, Lorenzo shared with the audience our FUTURE protocol and the project that led us this far: Furniture For Future.

It’s a project focused on environmental sustainability and social responsibility that aims to promote our daily commitment in applying sustainability in the development of seating.

In this regard, Lorenzo presented some projects realised in these years: the nursing rocking chair made by reusing some stock material, and the Triple F chairs, designed by Simone Micheli and developed according to eco-design principles.

In addition, some space was also given to our project “RefittiAMO le scuole”, conceived to promote the refit and restoration of worn-out chairs and furniture in the schools of the province of Udine.

Finally, Lorenzo closed his presentation talking about a new ongoing challenging project in collaboration with the architects Emilia Wanderlingh and Matteo Bermani from the Studio02 Milano.

It’s a project that aims to create a chairs’ collection according to the principles of circular economy and that is already drawing the attention of valuable partners, sensitive to sustainability.

Plenty of news is coming soon and we can’t wait to share it with you! For now, we’ll let you have a little suspense on the horizon.

See you soon!
